Ofsted are the governing body of the education system which includes pre-schools, private nurseries, childminders, nurseries and schools. Childminders have the same legal obligation to deliver the Early Years Foundation Stage, just as the teachers of nursery and reception in primary schools have to. As early years practitioners we have to adhere to the same guide lines which are inspected by Ofsted.
The unique service a childminder can offer allows them to accept babies from a few months old right through to their teenage years, enabling the development of a close relationship between your child and both families. This strong relationship allows us to work alongside other teaching professionals supporting and enhancing your childs learning.
