About the Business
I am a parent to 4 children and 2 step-children ranging in age from 3 years to 26 years. I am a member of SCMA (Scottish Childminding Association). I am a member of the PVG Scheme (Protecting Vulnerable Groups) and my husband has an Enhanced Disclosure. I have completed certified training with East Lothian Council relating to Fire Safety, Risk Assessments and Creating a Stimulating Play Environment. I am committed to continuing to develop my knowledge and skills related to Childcare and Child Protection and have developed a Personal Development Training Plan for the coming year. Some of the training I will undertake this year includes certified First Aid Training, Food Hygiene, Child Protection, Positive Behaviour Management and Supporting Children's Learning and Development.
