My names Hazel and I live with my partner Terry and daughter Charlotte in a spacious bungalow on a quiet cul-de-sac in South Elmsall. We have a large secure back garden for the children to play. Therewill be a vegetable patch where everyone can get involved in growing their own food, a grassed area which will be home to plenty of games and fun, and there's a large patio so that we can still play outside if we have a "Great British Summer" and the grass gets too muddy!
We aim to provide high quality home based childcare which is a fun thriving environment for the children in our setting. We will provide stimulating focus activities that link in to the Early YearsFoundation Stage (EYFS). We aim to provide the highest quality care for your child so we will never work to our full capacity, as we have the children's best interest in mind. We are confident in the fact that not all childminders are the same.
We are Lynne Hartley and Carla Hollis, Ofsted Registered Childminders since 2004. We have been best friends since the age of three, and as children used to play at running a business together, as wegrew into adults we would frequently find ourselves discussing the feasibility of establishing a business together, we just needed to find our calling! Our children were born close together, and we found that we both enjoyed the parenting experience.
Our children and staff enjoyed playing outdoors this winter is the soft fluffy snow. Staff used lots of shared sustained thinking whilst communicating with the children about the snow. How it feels, how it looks, is it cold?, fluffy, crunchy, wet, white etc. A group of children decided to build a snowman with their friends.
We hope that you will enjoy looking at it, and that you will get an insight into our school. We provide a safe and stimulating environment, which empowers pupils to maximize their personal, creativeand academic potential in order to become life long learners and responsible world citizens.

Our Preschool caters for children from 2yrs upto 4yrs or until the term they start Infant school. We are based in part of the Castle Children's centre, (next door to the social services dept) and weare in walking distance to many local amenities; park, shops, Sandal Castle, library, train station, bus stops, supermarket, cafe. This is very beneficial to our educations plans for teaching and the children regularly have trips to these places.
Finally, we found the perfect location (The Old Queen Street School/ Council Offices) in which to set our nursery, being spacious, homely, safe and very convenient for access in and out of the town.We also searched long and hard for the right team members. We have indeed found the right team members to create the kind of environment that will attract and keep quality team members.
