Welcome, my name is Sam, I am a recently registered childminder with NHSCT and fully insured with NICMA - the childminding association. I have always wanted to work with children ever since I wasyoung. I grew up in a family home were my mum was a childminder and also both parents were foster carers so the house was always filled with children and I believe this played a big part in my carer with children.

I have a 1st class BSc Psychology degree, and in relation to childminding, I found this degree informative both in terms of child development and special needs. I also have almost a year's experienceof working as a Pre-school assistant in a day nursery before having my sons, which I thoroughly enjoyed and gave me the incentive to start up my own registered childminding business from home.
My son has had an absolutely wonderful start on his learning journey at Kare Bears. He has thrived in a stimulating and caring environment. He has felt safe and secure and formed close bonds with hiscarers and peer group. He has had a wealth of opportunities to develop emotionally, physically and socially. He has received constant support and guidance and has grown into an independent confident child.
