Chipmunks Day Nurseries along with Edgefield and Claylands Out of School Clubs are registered and approved by Ofsted. We provide quality care of children between the ages of 3 months and 12 years for 51 weeks of the year with one week away for the Christmas break. We provide a safe, warm homely environment in which all children receive equal care and attention.
Little Firs Day Nursery is a highly respectable setting. We work in partnership with various professional agencies; including Speech and Language, Educational Specialists, Health Visitors, Midwifes, Sure Start, Action for Children, local Schools, Children Centre Teachers and numerous others. The setting relocated into its existing building in January 2009 and renamed itself to Little Firs Day Nursery.

St. Andrew's Preschool in Bridport was originally formed in Bradpole in 1975. We took up residence in our current premises in The Old School building, St Andrews Road, Bridport in 1997. Our part of the building consists of 2 playrooms, children's toilets, staff toilet, kitchen/office, outside storage area and a secure outside play area. St Andrews Pre-school is very proud of its good reputation for offering high quality care and education to children from all areas of the local community.
Our accommodation includes bright and spacious classrooms and a safe kitchen area for the children to cook. We have an attractive garden where the children enjoy daily outdoor activities including imaginative play in a well equipped wooden house, large sand pit, water play, nature study and gardening.
Our daily routine will always be roughly the same so that your child feels comfortable and they know what to expect each day. However, activities will change daily so that the children are kept interested and busy! Everyday the children will be provided with snacks and drinks where required. The children will walk or be driven to take children to school, nursery and playgroup, and to collect them again. Children will have a rest time during each day.
Broadstone Christian Nursery was established in January 1991 by Mrs Gwladys Vaughan an ex Headteacher of a local First School who took early retirement as she believed young children needed a breadth of experiences and skills to help them through life. Her aim was that children could enjoy and have fun whilst learning and develop self confidence. Her daughter Penny joined her and continues to carry out her mother's passion and vision for the nursery.
At our friendly children's nursery, we offer a caring and safe environment for children to play and learn. We treat every child as the wonderful individual that they are and are extremely passionate about helping your child to develop at their own pace, both in the classroom and in our safe and secure outdoor classroom and playground areas. Currently, we are registered to offer care for up to 26 children over the age of 12 months.
