I have worked as a registered childminder since 2003, but have eighteen years exerience working with young children as a nursery manager, nanny and teaching assistant. I am committed to providing thebest practice in order that children in my care can acheive their full potential. I acheive this by regularly attending training courses and making sure I listen to the needs of parents and their children.
We are a privately owned children's day nursery based in Solihull that aims to provide excellent quality care. We understand just how much a good day care nursery for children can play in extendingchildren's development and knowledge and that's why we treat everyone as an individual. We provide a bright and welcoming environment that encourages fun, learning and interaction between those we look after, staff and parents.
Over half our staff are qualified to a level 3 qualification in childcare, as well as first aid and food handling. All our staff have been on safeguarding courses with the Manager being the DesignatedSafeguarding Officer in the setting. Children start to learn about the world around them from the moment they are born.
We can supply full or part time Nannies or possibly Nannies just for school runs or functions e.g. Weddings, Parties etc. Should you require a Nanny at short notice, we invariably have on our booksNannies who are able to step in and help you. For all your child-care needs, Solihull Nanny Agency is available to help you make the right decision.
We live in a 4 bedroom house with a dedicated room to the children, fully equipped with toys and activities for all ages and stages of development. Our garden which is used all year round has atrampoline, sandpit, ride-on toys, and a small slide. In addition, I have a dedicated patch for the children to grow plants/flowers. I believe every child is unique and deserves to be cared for in a happy, safe and stimulating setting.
Hi my name is Lynne. I am the nursery owner. I have worked in Early years education since 1988, initially as a school teacher. In 1996, whilst expecting my first child, I made the move to join myparents at Playpals Childcare Centre and in 2007, following their retirement became the proprietor. Hi my name is Jo, I am the Manager at Playpals and also the room leader in the Sunflower Room. I completed my childcare qualification in 1997 and this was when I joined Playpals.
