Finding someone you are comfortable in leaving your child with can be a very daunting experience so I am adding a little bit about myself to help you get to know how I reached the point of becoming a Childminder. I completed High School with GCSEs, to work in the Civil Service for a number of years, followed by a large utility company starting in Customer Service and finishing in IT. Following redundancy I changed career completely and worked for HR/Training in a senior role.
Our opening times are from 9.30am every morning until 5pm every evening, as the entry fee is for a two hour play, we have our last entry at 3.30pm. We will now be open every day of the year until next Christmas eve, we are open every bank holiday, every Monday, all through the school holiday and every weekend, any variation to this will be notified on this homepage with plenty of notice.

Our service provides an all-inclusive setting and we have a wealth of experience in caring for children with additional needs. Happy Hours Day Nursery has been open since August of 1989, and caters for up to 48 children at any one time. We have three rooms, Baby room 0/2 years, Toddler room 2/3 years, and Pre school room 3/6 years. Each room has a strict staff to children ratio which is adhered to at all times. We are Ofsted registered and a copy of our report is available for your perusal. We have an open house policy enabling you to visit the nursery at any time to suit yourself.
