As you can probably guess, we like our children to keep busy, and subject to theScottish weather, occupied with many outdoor activities. Blackburn Family Centre was established in 1997 to provide free childcare and support for families suffering long-term unemployment. The organisation has grown in response to the needs of the area andits families, it now emplys 3 full time and 3 part time staff, along with 4 sessional workers. On 16th. April 2009 the organisation became a Charitable Company Limited by Guarantee and is run by a Board of Trustees comprising local people and service users.
