We operate from a fantastic purpose builtfacility in the rural Lancashire village of Chipping. We also operate the local Baby & Toddler group from Chipping Village Hall.

We appreciate just how much trust parents place in us every single day, and we are fully committed to ensuring that each child enjoys a purposeful, balanced and above all happy nursery experience. Thenursery itself is conveniently situated in Lomeshaye village and forms part of an impressive, luxury mill conversion.

Children are very special; so is Little Stars Nursery. Our nursery offers high-quality and affordable childcare, all designed to exacting specifications and fitted with extensive resources such asfully equipped indoor and outdoor play areas. Caring for children in the early years is of vital importance and no two children are the same, so each child is treated as an individual and given the chance to play and learn in a vibrant, stimulating and entertaining environment.

The Beacon Day Nursery is enjoying great success in becoming a part of the community and in having a positive influence on the development of the children in our care. A family-run centre forchildren, The Beacon Day Nursery staff instil an attitude of teamwork and consideration. We want the children here to feel at home and the parents leaving them here to be confident that their little ones will be safe and happy whilst they are away.

Our Nursery is situated in pleasant surroundings on the edge of the village playing fields with ample parking. The nursery prides itself on its unique relationship with parents, and successfulrelationships between parents and nursery can have long lasting beneficial effects on childrens learning and well being.

On-going formative assessment is at the heart of effective early years practice. As practitioners we observe children as they play, interact and engage through the daily activities and planned grouptimes. Through these observations we can then assess the children through the Early Years Foundation Stage areas of learning to identify where the child may be in their developmental pathway.

Providing good quality child care was and still is their primary focus, and the business has always been looked at from the "parent's perspective". Even today, Michelle and Jonathan still view thebusiness with a keen "parent's eye" and are constantly tweaking and making ongoing improvements to the business to stay on the forefront of Early Years Education.
