Hi, my name is Dorota (children know me as Dora!), owner of Dora's House and I am a registered childminder living in Belfast, covering both the BT7 and BT8 areas close to Forestside and Newtownbreda.My house (Dora's House) is a large 4 bedroom house with dedicated room for play, and a secure garden with outdoor play facilities. Dora's House provides the best possible service by ensuring that, through play and activity sessions, all children have fun whilst learning something new each day.

The project was set-up by local parents, the playgroup leader and staff who formed a committee to push the project forward. The idea was to build upon the long established local playgroup by adding anafter school club, which would continue to look after the children when they went to school.
Kings Road Nursery School opened in 1977 and serves the immediate areas of Tullycarnet, Dundonald and Gilnahirk. It is well equipped inside and out. The school has two main play rooms and operates anopen planned approach where the children are free to move purposefully between the two rooms accessing a wide range of learning opportunities. There is a large Sun Room which is floored with safety surface. This facilitates physical play on a daily basis, irrespective of the weather outside.

Our carer's understand that babies need special attention, love and cuddles andare there to provide it. We are always at hand to offer advice and support to parents and we understand that leaving a baby in a nursery environment may be at times difficult for both the parent and baby.
Kids Korner Day Nurseries are registered with Belfast Health and Social Care Trust and are members of Early Years, the organisation for young children. We have a strong emphasis on treating allchildren as individuals and caring for them in a warm, homely and loving environment. Over the Rainbow was the first Private Day Nursery to open in Belfast.
