At Fenwick Pre-5's we delivers 5 morning nursery sessions to up to 45 children, aged 3-5 years, in partnership with East Ayrshire Council. This means we can offer EAC Funded Places to eligible children to attend sessions with us. We can also provided places on a sessional basis as we are an independent provider fully responsible for funding our service on our own merit. We are an independent Nursery Company who have been operating in East Lothian since 1995. Links Nursery is situated in Balcarres Road, Musselburgh, in a lovely site overlooking the racecourse. LATEST NEWS:- Fife Council are asking parents for feedback on how best they want to use their nursery hours and the flexibility of it. The survey only takes a few minutes to complete. We are only weeks away from applying for our Green Flag Award, having already achieved our Bronze and Silver Award. We only have a few more criteria to adhere to and our application for the Green Flag should be with us for summer. Our playpark is now expanding along with our number of children attending the Nursery.
The children meet in the morning on the main green in Dalkeith Country Park. Children come dressed in their kit with their bag. We start our journey by asking the children what they would like to do today and then we make our way to the nursery site. We know our site very well as do the children, when we get there the first thing we do is assess the site using our child friendly benefit risk sheets. Once we know all is good we start setting up the site with the children.
