About the Business
Rose Lodge Nursery School, South Parade is a well-established, family run nursery in a large seafront property in Southsea. Open for fifty-two weeks of the year with a dedicated team of professionals most of whom have been with us several years or more. The group leaders are all fully qualified at NVQ 3 level (or equivalent NNEB) in Early Years Childcare and Education and are responsible for planning and recording the activities in their groups. Each group also has carers qualified at NVQ Level 2 and students of levels 2 and 3 under their guidance. All staff regularly undergo extra career training.
Our nursery is currently registered for sixty five children. These are divided into six groups according to age and individual stage of development. All children's development is monitored and recorded regularly to ensure all individuals' needs are met and addressed. We have fully adopted the Early Years Foundation Stage framework and incorporated it into our planning and recording systems.
