We are working in partnership with St Botolphs, Oxley, St Winefrides, and Belton Primary Schools and with Shepshed High School to achieve wrap around care for children of Shepshed and Belton. We are a small friendly Nursery catering up to 34 children per day. We are the only Nursery in Shepshed currently owned and ran by people living within the community.
Nanpantan Nursery School was established in 1968 and during 2006 became a "non for profit" Charitable Limited Company. We are affiliated with the Pre-School Learning Alliance. We supply sessional care and education for children aged between 3 and 5 years, at the Old School House on Nanpantan Road as well as a Parent and Toddler session at St Mary in Charnwood Church's Chapter House on Nanpantan Road. The Nursery School follows the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum guidance.
