About the Business

LEXDEN LODGE is family-run and family-orientated and we hope that we will soon be able to welcome you and your child into our community. From when you first contact us we provide opportunities for your child and you to visit the nursery. When a child starts to attend, we work with you to decide on the best way to help the child to settle into the nursery. We want your child to feel happy and safe with us. We offer a home visit and several preliminary visits to the nursery, over two weeks to help children become settled, and will liaise with you in deciding when you prefer these to be. To assist with a gentle transition into nursery life, we allocate a key person to aid each child and family. The key person welcomes and looks after the child and the parents from the child's first session, onwards. We like to keep you informed and actively encourage communication between parents and the nursery.
