We believe children learn best through fun play and strive to provide the children in our care with fun activities that will support all areas of children's development. We aim to make meal times afun social event where all the children sit together with staff eating and talking. This also gives our smallest children chances to interact with older children and siblings. All our children's meals are prepared and cooked from fresh ingredients wherever possible.

I don't leave my child with anyone apart fromfamily, I quite happily leave N with Lisa, she feels safe. I have worked with Shiney Row Childcare for the last 8 years through my role as Community Development Officer for Children's Centres. My name is Lisa Devlin and I'm an Ofsted registered childminder. I thought I would take this opportunity to tell you about myself and my family. Firstly, I studied nursery nursing in Widnes inCheshire - my home town - and when I qualified I became a nanny to a lovely boy. After a year it was time for Sarath to start nursery, and luckily for me there was a vacancy for a nursery nurse as well. So we both started at Haltys Den day nursery together.
