The Pre-School is run by an elected committee, which ensures that major decision making is in the hands of the parents who use the group. The committee are responsible for reviewing both policy andpractice, and for the employment and appraisal of members of staff. Our Annual General Meeting, at which the committee for the following year is elected, is held in the Autumn Term and parents will be informed in good time so they are able to attend.

I have recently moved to Lincolnshire from Essex where I was an accredited network childminder, meeting the standards of good practice. I moved to Lincolnshire because my parents retired here. I haveworked as a child minder for the last 11 years. In that time I have completed a NVQ level 2 & 3 in Early Years Child Development & Education Studies, up to date First aid training, EYFS Training and lots of other relevant child care qualifications.

Our settings are organised loosely into four groups - our Little Hedgehog rooms are for babies approximately 3 months to 18 months old, the Little Rabbit groups are for toddlers from anywhere between18 months and 3 years, and our pre-schoolers are in the Little Badgers groups. Junior Badgers can start from around 30 months if they are ready, becoming Senior Badgers once they are entitled to claim their Early Years Education funding in the term following their third birthday.
