I've been working with children for over 15 years. I originally started out training in day nurseries and Montessori schools. I then went on to be a childrens' rep, and I've also managed a crèche, been assistant manager of a nursery, run after-school clubs and holiday clubs, worked as a nanny and with children with special educational needs. After all my experience, I think I learnt the most when I become a mummy in 2009 and I now have 3 gorgeous children!

If you decide to let us care for your child at Chuckles we will take time to settle both you and your child into nursery. The nursery manager will arrange suitable days and times for you to initiallyattend with your child, then for your child to be left with us knowing that you will be returning in a short period. These sessions are tailored to each individual child. We feel that each of our settings benefit from their own individual characteristics. We hope that you will come and see for yourself.

After many enquiries and much work we received funding from N.R.F, S.R.B, D.F.E.S &Neighbourhood Nursery Initiative to build a new purpose built nursery on the site of Rosemellin Community Primary School. As well as being a registered charity, the Gooseberry Bush became the first Neighbourhood Day Nursery in the South West of England.
