We chose Clifton Moor as the place for our children's nursery with the needs of local people and local employers in mind. There is a shortage of good quality childcare facilities and very oftenparents have little or no choice over having to take whatever is available to them. So we decided to create a local high quality nursery providing a safe, secure and clean environment with excellent indoor and outdoor play facilities staffed by well-qualified and caring people.

I am originally from London, moving up to Pocklington in January 2011, and into York July 2012. Living in London was fantastic and I was very lucky to grow up in such a bustling and diverse community. When I was young my mother was a childminder and it has given me some brilliant first hand insights into why childminding is a valuable option for parents who require childcare. It was never boring in our house, it was sometimes noisy and often messy but it was a very happy place to grow up.
