I have been working with children in their Early Years since training as a teacher in 1989. As Registered Childminders, our duties and responsibilities are centred on children's development and progress. We work with children aged between 3 months to 8 years, from all backgrounds. Our workrequire us to be responsible for the care and safety of your children during their stay with us at Bright Buttons. We continually monitor the development of new teaching methods, and any new regulations that might improve the progress of the children in our care.
All children and families are welcome in our warm, friendly pre-school. We are registered by Ofsted for 24 children between the ages of 2:6 years to 5 years old. Fees are £7.00 per 2.5 hour session.2 year old funding is available for some parents, if they are on benefits and meet certain criteria. From the term AFTER a child's 3rd birthday all children are entitled to 15 hours FREE childcare per week.
We are a pre-school based in South Oxhey, Watford. Our aim is to provide a friendly, happy and secure environment in which children can learn and develop through play. Little Furze Pre-School operateswithin a school and we provide a variety of activities to help the children develop as individuals. We promote healthy eating and independence. The term after their 3rd birthday, every child is eligible for up to 15 hours per week of free childcare, numbers permitting.
The children feel safe and valued and build strong relationships with children of varying ages. The children here are confident and enjoy helping with minor chores eg laying the table and tidying up,which makes them feel an important part of the group, which of course they are.
