We can do this because we pay attention to every detail of the child's likes and dislikes, habits, routines, cultures and lifestyles and provide a safe nurturing environment that help them becomeresilient, independent and confident individuals. They recognised the experience, dedication and enthusiasm of our staff who are all highly trained and knowledgeable and are indeed the reason that makes Brenchley Pre-School such an excellent start for your child's first steps towards education.
The Nursery is staffed by a team of highly qualified and experienced practitioners, committed to delivering the range of experiences and opportunities fundamental to children's learning. We workclosely with parents and carers to help the children make the most of their Nursery experiences. Staff are always on hand for a chat or to discuss any issues, and we have regular 'Open House' events such as our slideshows and sing-song sessions to which parents and carers are warmly invited.
Research has shown that a Key Worker approach is the most effective way of ensuring that children develop a strong relationship with a significant adult in Pre-school. The Key Worker approach givesevery child the reassurance to feel secure and cared for, helping them to become familiar with the Pre-school environment and to feel confident and safe within it. The Key Worker meets the needs of each child in their care and responds sensitively to their feelings, ideas and behaviour.
Our planned nursery based in the heart of St. Leonards will be a unique place for your child to have great fun within 'urban eco' facilities. We'll focus on outdoor play and your child learning aboutthe local environment, including lots of great outings to the nearby beach and park. We plan, in time to come and when our customers want us to, to open our nursery from 06.30hrs in the morning and even on weekends!
What is important to your child? Children view things very differently from adults, and although the issues we consider as a parent/carer are very important for our children's safety and well-being,they are often not the things most important to young children. Does anyone notice when I come in? Do they say hello? Can my mum/dad stay if I want them to? Can I reach the things I need (toys, handles, toilet)? Can I see out of the window? Are there any people, or picture of people, who look like me?
