Little Berries, the nursery and pre-prep of Burys Court, admits children approaching the age of 3. At Little Berries we aim to give each child the best possible start in a peaceful, rural location, under the guidance of friendly, caring staff. The operating hours are 8.30 to 3.30, but attendance is flexible to suit the needs of the parents and child. Classes are small and friendly. The teachers are dedicated to encouraging children to achieve their potential whilst having fun.

In the Autumn of 1975 I started taking my son Daniel to Newdigate Playgroup as there was nothing available in Leigh village. We started in the Autumn of 1976 with ten children four days a week, charging 5 shillings a session (equivalent to 25p today!). We had one leader and a mum had to help everyday as well. It grew steadily over the years getting up to 20 children with two paid helpers and a mum.

We do understand that life sometimes can throw things out of sync with childcare arrangements, for example - school holidays, sickness, inset days, teachers strikes or even you may just want "metime". JEM Nannies are part of the JEM Childcare Solutions group who are specialists in the Childcare and Early Years sector, we work with families to provide childcare in the home.

We have a uniquely designed renovated building with 3 main areas for pre-school, nursery and toddler aged children, as well as a separate Baby centre for our babies. Shapes qualified and experiencedstaff are committed to ensure that every child is given the opportunity to develop as an individual to enable and encourage them to reach their full potential through praise, respect and positive attitudes.
